Robertshaw is seeking for a Sourcing Analyst to provide support to the Corporate Direct / Indirect Materials team and Category Leads. The position focuses on analyzing commodity markets, conducting spend analysis, opportunity assessments, savings quantification, validation, project tracking, and reporting. This position is well suited for a highly organized and self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail. Candidates should have experience in developing analysis and understanding of supply chain processes.  This role will work closely with Finance to measure Supply Chain performance and results. 


  • Coordinate and manage tracking of supply chain, sourcing cost savings
  • Develops and maintains reporting tools which ensure that management has access to accurate and timely information
  • Maintain entries of all savings, inflationary, working capital improvements
  • Prepares and analyzes supplier data including category spend and usage, marketplace demographics, and product cost structure
  • Track, aggregate and communicate savings and market economic data and trends
  • Provide analytical support to category teams
  • Develop forward views on commodity prices, trends and impact analysis
  • Build understanding of commodity impacts for major product categories
  • Create dashboards to track and measure sourcing department performance measurements
  • Develop tools and provide analytical support around:
    • Compilation of data along with advanced analyses and templates
    • Opportunity Assessment based on spend data
  • Review internal and external Excel data and evaluate and communicate anomalies and opportunities
  • Resolve internal and external data calculation errors and validate final calculations
  • Provide comprehensive analysis to support strategic sourcing
  • SharePoint Maintenance
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required
  • Special projects are required





•   Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting or finance, or in business or supply chain, and at least 3 years of work experience in accounting, finance, sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, or working with direct / indirect materials in a sales, engineering or operations capacity

•   Advanced quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills:

•   Strong communication skills; ability to synthesize lots of data into meaningful information

·        Ability to analyze reports to identify problems and the root cause of variances and recommend corrective actions

•   Demonstrated ability to take data from multiple sources/formats and cleanse, categorize, and synthesize, in order to identify patterns and opportunities around sourcing, pricing strategies, etc.

•   Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, discounts, weighted averages, and other financial and statistics knowledge, as well as data extraction and analysis skills using Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc).

•   Knowledge of financial accounting, strategic sourcing, and supplier management

•   Strong computer knowledge, including Windows, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint concepts




•   Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholders

•   Demonstrated project management skills


•   Prior work experience in Supply Chain desirable

•   Understanding of Sourcing Processes including RFP’s, eSourcing events and Spend Analytics

•   Market knowledge of a variety of direct / indirect material sourcing

•   Self-starter capable of working independently
